ACNH Turkey Day 2026: Ingredients, Secret Items & Rewards
Turkey Day returns on November 26, 2026. Franklin hosts a four-course feast outside Resident Services. Completing the base dishes earns exclusive non-craftable furniture. Adding secret ingredients unlocks random craftable Turkey Day items, and finishing all four secret ingredients rewards the full DIY recipe pack.

- Hours: 9:00 AM – Midnight (local time)
- Hemispheres: Both Northern and Southern Hemisphere islands
- Requirement: Resident Services and Isabelle must be unlocked
Turkey Day Preparation Checklist
Before November 26, prepare the following:
- Unlock Resident Services and confirm Isabelle is available
- Unlock the Be a Chef! DIY Recipes+ feature at the Nook Stop (required to receive cooking recipes)
- Grow all four pumpkin colors: Orange, Green, White, and Yellow
- Stock up on Manila Clams
- Have a wetsuit ready for diving
- Check your hemisphere so you know the correct Gratin ingredients
- Leave storage space for fish, seafood, and cooking materials
How to Complete the Turkey Day Event
At 9:00 AM, Franklin appears outside Resident Services with a cooking station. Villagers wear festive hats and carry plates or drinks.
Step-by-Step Flow
- Talk to Franklin to receive the first recipe and ingredient list.
- Gather base ingredients by fishing, diving, digging for clams, foraging (Northern Hemisphere mushrooms), or harvesting pumpkins.
- If you are missing materials, visit villagers cooking inside their homes. Trade them the fish or sea creature they request. In return, they provide a random ingredient and may give you hints about the secret ingredient for Franklin’s dishes.
- Return the base ingredients to Franklin to cook the dish and receive the fixed non-craftable reward.
- Add the secret ingredient to upgrade the dish.
- Repeat for all four dishes.

After finishing all four base dishes, Franklin gives you the Turkey Day Recipes pack, which includes Clam Chowder, Pumpkin Pie, Gratin, Bread Gratin, and Olive-Flounder Meunière. You must have unlocked Be a Chef! DIY Recipes+ beforehand.

Notes:
- Slash (/) means choose one option, not all.
- In the Northern Hemisphere, mushrooms spawn near trees throughout November, making it easier to prepare Gratin ingredients before Turkey Day. (Acceptable mushrooms for Gratin are Flat, Round, or Skinny.)
- Fish Meunière secondary ingredient: Northern Hemisphere can use Dab, Olive Flounder, Red Snapper, or Flour. Southern Hemisphere uses Olive Flounder, Red Snapper, or Flour.
Manila Clams are dug from beach spouts. Scallops, mussels, oysters, and sea urchins require diving. Most fish are caught while ocean fishing. Flour is crafted from 5 wheat.

Pumpkin Guide
You need multiple colors for Pumpkin Pie.
Colors: Orange (required for the base recipe), Green, White, and Yellow.
Franklin asks for 1 Orange + 1 random other color. The two colors you do not use become the secret ingredient.
How to grow:
- Pumpkin Starts from Leif (year-round when he visits)
- Nook's Cranny (stocked in October)
Plant on tilled soil and water regularly. Color is random at harvest.
Tips:
- Grow a large batch in October
- Check storage for leftover Halloween pumpkins
- Trade with cooking villagers on the day if needed
