IconACNH November 2026 Events, Items & Updates: Complete Guide

November 2026 is one of the densest months in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Northern Hemisphere players get deep fall content (mushrooms, maple leaves, final acorn/pine cone DIYs), while Southern Hemisphere players enter spring with a Bug-Off. Turkey Day on November 26 is available to everyone and remains the biggest reward window of the month.

Use this guide to lock in every limited item, plan your daily routes, and finish Turkey Day without missing the non-craftable exclusives.

ACNH November 2026 Guide: Turkey Day & Limited Items

What Are the ACNH November 2026 Events?

All events follow fixed windows. Many rewards are hemisphere-locked, so confirm your island’s seasonal pool before farming.

Mushroom Season (Northern Hemisphere Only) – November 1 Onward

Mushrooms begin spawning beside trees on Northern Hemisphere islands starting November 1. There are five types:

  • Elegant mushroom
  • Flat mushroom
  • Rare mushroom
  • Round mushroom
  • Skinny mushroom

Rare mushrooms have a lower spawn rate. Check tree lines daily if you need multiple for forest or cottage builds. These materials disappear after the season ends. Players looking for extra seasonal materials can also try Kapp’n’s Rare Islands, which sometimes include a dedicated Mushroom Island.

Lantern Festival Nook Shopping – November 1 to November 11

Buy the Handheld Lantern at the Nook Stop terminal inside Resident Services. It pairs well with string lights for evening plaza or home builds.

Shichi-Go-San Nook Shopping – November 11 to November 20

Purchase Chitose Ame from Nook Shopping. This cultural treat works well in themed interiors and photo builds.

Maple Leaf Season (Northern Hemisphere Only) – November 16 to November 25

Maple leaves float through the air. Catch them with your net the same way you catch balloons. Log in regularly if you want the full maple leaf furniture set. There is no fixed spawn time.

Bug-Off (Southern Hemisphere Only) – November 21

Southern Hemisphere islands host their November Bug-Off on November 21. Talk to Flick to enter the contest. Rewards include:

Artisanal Bug Cage, Bug Aloha Shirt, Bug Cage, Bug Wand, Butterflies Wall, Butterfly Backpack, Ladybug Rug, Ladybug Umbrella, Spider Doorplate, Spider Web, Termite Mound, Toy Centipede, and Toy Cockroach.

Turkey Day – November 26 (All Players)

Turkey Day falls on the fourth Thursday of November (November 26, 2026). It runs from 9:00 AM to midnight local time. Resident Services and Isabelle must be unlocked.

Franklin sets up outside Resident Services. The plaza gains dining tables and holiday decor. Villagers wear festive hats and carry plates or drinks. Special background music plays.

Your goal is to help Franklin cook a four-course feast. You can also add a secret ingredient to each dish for bonus rewards. Gather materials by fishing, diving, foraging, growing crops, or trading with villagers who are cooking inside their homes.

Finish the four base dishes to earn the Cornucopia (the main non-craftable reward).
Add every secret ingredient to unlock the full craftable Turkey Day DIY set on your NookPhone.

Advanced Tips & Strategy

Plan around hemisphere differences.

Northern players should prioritize mushroom farming, maple leaf catching, and the final acorn/pine cone window. Southern players focus on the Bug-Off. Do not waste time chasing materials that do not spawn on your island.

Rarity notes.

Rare mushrooms spawn less frequently. Check tree bases every day. Maple leaves are random — keep your net ready while exploring.

Maximize Turkey Day efficiency.

Visit villagers cooking inside their homes early. They trade missing ingredients and often hint at the secret ingredient, saving significant fishing and diving time. Complete the four base dishes first for the Cornucopia, then hunt secrets for the full DIY unlock.
